My husband, David and I own and operate Chocolate Horse Farm in SW MO. We began importing in 2001, one of the longest farms still operating and dedicated to a special breed of horse known as the Gypsy Vanner Horse. We maintain and train an average of 24 horses , with the assistance of some special people. As for the sale of CHF horses, it is a match we take seriously. A small review of spring foals at CHF taken over a couple of years. We have never considered our babies a crop. a crop to be brought into the world and sold as soon as weaned. Instead, we have spent this time evaluating each and everyone for conformation and disposition. Like humans, they are each individuals. So when a breeder wants to get to know you be patient and understand they want only the bast experience for both you and the horse.
